WANDERING MISFITS

In 2014, six women ventured to Chamonix, France to participate in the Ida Chappot Women's Ice Hockey tournament.  Going in we were a short bench, but players from France and Switzerland were quick to fill in.  In addition to the great hospitality, the setting was amazing.  Imagine lining up for a faceoff and seeing the beautiful snowcapped mountain range of Mont Blanc just beyond the window.  It was breathtaking and our adventure was capped off with a tour through the ancient cities and cobblestone roads of Italy.

 

Riding on the high of that adventure, we knew this was something we wanted to do again.  And that is how the 'Wandering Misfits' were born.  Each year, we journey to different parts of the globe to play some hockey and explore the many wonders of the world.
